World Mental Health Day

Understanding the importance of your Wellness and Mental Health.  I encourage everyone to prioritize their health and wellness.  We all experience lifes ups and downs, although most times we believe that we are alone in these feelings.  One by one we can step on the stigma related to Mental Health and step up for ourselves and others just by seeking assistance and not being embarrassed to share our experiences.  Once we identify our needs we have to take steps to incorporate our needs into our daily lives.  The importance of improving our wellness is key to not only our mental health but our physical health.  As the saying goes “ Health is Wealth”.  What that looks like only you know.  For me, it is building healthy relationships, getting rest, walking away the pounds, and healthy eating.  I not only struggle daily with staying motivated and not living in my trauma but also drinking enough water.
