So I challenge you to ask yourself as a parent, spouse, friend, sibling, or family member do you fall in this category.  Often we only look at extreme situations and blame the parent or caregiver but not what led up to the behaviors.   As a parent/caregiver we often turn the other cheek when our children or others we like or love demonstrates an unbecoming behavior instead of correcting the behavior we ignore the behavior.  Yes, I’m guilty on all levels and have and continue to work on this behavior.  The first thing we must do is understand what, when and how before we can make any changes.  We also have to be true to ourselves and identify if we actually want to change the behavior.  Can you relate?   Would you like to share some of your experiences?
