Hello to all my 50 -60’s babies that were teen moms and dad’s guess what our kids are adults now and we spent our late teens, 20’s,30’and most of our 40’s raising our children.  What does life look like for you now?    Well, we have no kids at home and our Grandchildren just need love from us, so we are learning how to love each other and the responsibility of only being responsible for ourselves.  We are living our separate lives with our friends and enjoying the things we love doing.  We are also getting to know each other as a 50-plus couple which has been challenging at times and very enjoyable at other times.  So let’s just say when you get to a certain point in life you have to adjust to a new normal.  What that looks like for me might not look the same for you.  Often times we dont even think that far, but it ok to start thinking and planning today.  To the parents of college students that live on campus, how are you balancing this new normal? I love this new journey although challenging at times but it's worth it to me!  Are you the hands-on physical Grandparent?  Are you living life to the most?  If so what does that look like for you?  Please share in an effort to help me and help others to open our eyes to something new.
