Missing Love During the Holidays

When the Holidays come around often we fall into sadness due to loss of loved ones, death , toxic  family relationships, toxic friendships and it's okay.  We can all use some tools to assist with coping.  

Dealing with the death of love ones, @ NemoursTeensHealth list five ideas that might help you cope when someone you love dies.

  1. Join in rituals.  Memorial services and funerals are time to gather.  They can help people get through the first few days.

  2. Accept your emotions.  Dont stop yourself from a good cry if you feel one coming on.  Accept the feelings you have, rather than think you “ should” feel a different way.  

  3. Talk about it when you can. 

  4. Preserve memories.

  5. Get the support you need.
