A Letter to Myself

Parent workshops teach all kinds of tools that will and can benefit you in life, here’s one for the books a letter to self. Try it!!!!

Hey Beautiful,

Looking in from the outside hard work looks like good luck to some.  However, only you and God know the silent battles that you’ve overcome.  The roofs you've blown off buildings, the corporations you have challenged all while feeling misunderstood and unloved.  You are resilient, you are a warrior, you have a heart of gold and you deserve everything you inspire to be.  So many things could’ve broken you, but you would not let them.  You are here striving through God’s grace.  You have survived it all!!!!!!!  Yes, you can be lazy and unmotivated at times, yes you have not always made the best decisions, yes you make mistakes, but you never give up.  Whenever you come across a brick wall, you don’t try to break the wall down you try to add to it.  You have a way of always finding the positive in everything, even if it makes you cry or breaks your heart…….You pull out the good and keep it moving. So many things , so many people tried to break you but those things only make you stronger.  You have been unapologetically you, all while carrying everything on your back.  Through it all you’ve bent, almost touching the ground at times,  but you HAVEN'T BROKEN!!!!!

In your words….A cute outfit, a smile even if only on the inside, and a humbled heart go a long way.    I’m Proud of you and never stop being you.
