Its Never too Late!

Over the last couple of months, I have had the honor of connecting with 5 nephews and 1 niece and 17 great nieces and nephews.  I have 17 nieces and nephews and 10 siblings and a ton of great nieces and nephews. This has been an amazing blessing from God.  It’s never too late to make positive connections with those grandchildren, siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.  If we are aware we have family members out there take some time to reach out to them.   Trust I understand how large families can appear small due to location and relationships. The reception might not be the desired outcome but don’t give up.  Take some time and understand that you might not receive open arms but keep in mind you might. I'm smiling as I type because the reunion with 5 of them plus the great nieces and nephews was nothing short of amazing.  We have made plans to keep the family events coming and I encourage everyone to step out on faith and make those family connections if possible.  The Black Family has been broken from over 500 or more, let’s make some effort to put families back together.  As children, we could not make these decisions but as adults, we can.  Let’s make a difference!   What have you done to make family connections?  What has worked?
